Get yourself listed @ BlogCatalog

Just in case you were wondering who are these people on the sidebar and why you're not showing as a recent viewer, let me explain:

They are all members of Blogcatalog, a blog directory website.

When I joined Blogcatalog it was primarily to have my blog listed (as you do), but now I have to say I think I'm getting slightly addicted to it. As a member, you have a chance to form friendships and 'neighborhoods' with other likeminded bloggers, rate their blogs and join discussions on various topics.

And the point is...?

Well, apart from virtual socializing, it's a great traffic booster. By connecting to other blogs and people in your niche, your chances of being seen by targeted traffic will instantly be multiplied. Also, your profile page is accessible to everyone every time you appear on the 'recent viewers' list (so make sure your avatar is appealing!).

Confused? Yeah, I'm not very good at explaining..., so better go straight to the source, sign up and start interacting with the crowd (huge crowd, masses).
